  Absolutely adorable little place. You can come in for lunch one moment and then leave with groceries and some buns the next. The staff are all very kind and the food is as good as any other Japanese restaurant. It is a bit compact though

  The staff at Heisei go out of their way to help people like me who cannot not read Japanese labels find what they are looking for and that fact alone has brought me back there more than once. I REALLY appreciate that.

  A little small, but a great place to find Japanese food and merchandise. There's also a Japanese supermarket that sells snacks, premade food like bread and onigiri which is great of you just want a taste of Japanese stuff without the commitment of sitting down and waiting for a order (which can be expensive). Not much clothing sold though :/ but there's a bookstore and beauty products.
